The Complete Approach to Below Grade Waterproofing Protection - DMI
Urban revitalization is a growing trend across the country, and with it comes some
unique challenges. One of the major challenges is the need to waterproof the new
structure in soils that have been contaminated with chemicals from the previous
activities performed on the land. Sites that had been gas stations, dry cleaners, or print
shops are prime examples. It is vitally important that the waterproofing system not
only be made watertight from the start, but that is will remain watertight over the life
of the structure by resisting the chemicals present in the soils.
